By creating an account you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service is intended for users in the United States. You must be at least 16 years old.

Kind Horse provides horse and barn management tools including health record tracking, scheduling, reminders, document storage, and expense management.

Many features are available at no monetary charge. In exchange for free or low-cost access, you agree that we may collect, use, share, and monetize information about you and your use of the service as described in our Privacy Policy — including for advertising and partnerships with third parties.

You retain ownership of the content you upload. We store and process it to provide the service.

By using the service you grant us a non-exclusive license to store, process, analyze, aggregate, de-identify, and share your data — including account details, horse and barn records, usage information, and uploaded documents — with service providers and commercial partners as described in our Privacy Policy.

You can export or request deletion of your personal data as described in our Privacy Policy, subject to legal retention requirements. Deleting your account ends our right to use your data going forward, but does not require us to retrieve data already shared with third parties before deletion.

Certain features (such as smart document import and vaccination invoice import) send files you choose to upload to a third-party AI provider so we can classify documents and extract fields such as dates, amounts, and vaccine lines.

AI features are optional and user-initiated. Extracted information is shown for your review before it is saved unless you explicitly choose automatic save.

AI output may be inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing extracted data before relying on it. The service does not provide veterinary or medical advice.

By using AI-assisted features you confirm you have the right to upload the file and to have its contents processed by us and our AI provider as described in our Privacy Policy.

We share user information with third parties for analytics, advertising, market research, product development, and other commercial purposes. We may receive compensation when we share data.

Shared information may include account and contact details, horse and barn records you enter, usage patterns, device and browser information, and information derived from documents you upload (including fields extracted by AI).

We may display advertisements in the service. Ad partners may use cookies or similar technologies as described in our Privacy Policy.

We work with partners who are contractually required to handle data appropriately, but we do not control how every recipient uses information once shared.

Residents of certain U.S. states may opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as described in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any documents containing third-party personal information (such as vet records, Coggins forms, or invoices). Do not upload documents you are not authorized to store.

By uploading documents you confirm you have the right to share their contents with us, our service providers, our AI provider, and the third parties described in our Privacy Policy.

You agree not to use the service for any unlawful purpose, to impersonate others, or to attempt to access other users' data.

Free access does not require payment but is subject to the data and advertising practices in these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Paid plans, where offered, may include reduced advertising or different data practices as described at purchase. Refunds are handled per our refund policy at the time of purchase.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

The service is provided "as is." We are not a veterinary service. Nothing in the app constitutes veterinary or medical advice.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kind Horse is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

We may update these Terms. We will notify you by email and may require re-acceptance for material changes.
